Augmented Reality (AR) technology is developing rapidly. New headsets are announced virtually every month. We are hardware-agnostic and can develop AR solutions on every platform, for AR glasses, mobile and flatscreen. For Hololens, Magic Leap, iOS, Android, Unity, you name it.
Developing an AR presentation including a large data set typically takes at least 3-4 weeks. We already have experience developing spatial presentations and apps for the Magic Leap platform, but we can adapt to your specific hardware. We have experience developing AR apps on the Hololens for the medical industry using the Unity engine running on the Universal Windows Platform (UWP). We also have our own presentation solution for AR visualizations using large data sets. We analyze the task and determine the most appropriate hardware and software solution for the task. Keep in mind that we humans remember 25% of what we hear, but over 80% of what we see, and that the best kind of learning is the so-called ‘learning by doing’.
With smartphones ubiquitous today you may want to make a mobile AR version of your app. This way people can already access it today without expensive AR headsets or glasses, providing end-users with AR presentations, additional information or promotional materials. A telling example: 74% of parents in a focus group who viewed an AR experience showcasing a new toy said that they were enthusiastic about purchasing the toy shown and 40% of them were willing to pay more for it.
